OnTop! Product Sales & Rental System

The OnTop! Product Sales and Rental System was developed using the Microsoft AccessÒ Relational Database Management System. The system is designed specifically to handle Inventory, Purchasing, Sales and Rental transactions for any small to medium sized business which buys products wholesale and sells retail (or rents equipment) via telephone and point-of-sale.
OnTop! is an on-line real-time system and is intended to track sales, rentals, purchasing and purchase receipt transactions as they occur.
OnTop! offers inventory tracking by category, group and size and includes an inventory adjustment function to be used following physical inventory counts. The inventory Product file includes last cost information and multiple user-defined selling prices. The Sales function screens are constructed for easy use by sales people, either while on the telephone or at a point-of-sale station.
The Supplier file contains purchasing and pricing policies for each vendor as well as all other pertinent data. The Customer master file, with source-of-business and multiple ship-to addresses, allows maximum flexibility for tracking business. A full audit trail tracks each transaction with a date, time and user ID stamp.
OnTop! is not an accounting system, but rather a carefully constructed front office and inventory control system. A bridge to the Intuit QuickBooksÔ accounting system allows batch interface of inventory transactions, purchases and sales from OnTop! to QuickBooks. Or, a company can choose to interface inventory transactions, purchases and sales to Open Systems’ Access-based TraverseÔ accounting system. The inherent flexibility of OnTop! allows customization of the system to fit each company’s unique needs.
Prices for OnTop! are quoted based on the desired accounting interface and the amount of customization and implementation project management required.
