This is a model of the first kit I built as a young boy in 1957 or so. Got it for my eighth birthday. Raced upstairs and put it together in about 30 minutes, barely glancing at the directions. As I recall I cut the decals out with scissors and glued them on! Haven't looked back since then!

I got this kit off of ebay and did the best job I could on seams, etc. Didn't sand off the rivets. Finish is SNJ with powder. This kit is a striking contrast next to the Monogram F-84F released in the 1970's and the Tamiya F-84G of the 1990's
