The wing alone is NINE pieces! (not counting the ailerons)

Day 2:
Underside sprayed MM Russian sky blue (Looks "bluer"
than this in real life)

Upper side green sprayed. Masking is poster "stuff"

Day 3:
Black is MM Interior black (really dark gray) freehanded using a picture
from http://mig3.sovietwarplanes.com/

Day 4:
All shined up and no where to go!

Day 5:
The worst part of ICM kits - the decals. They are very fragile, translucent
and silver badly but I love a challenge! I coat them with liquid
decal film first and do not cut close to the edge. If you try to
trim them close they invariably break off at the red star tips when
you try and use them. With a coat pf Micro Sol much of the silvering
disappears. Poke a few holes in the silvering with a pin and add
some more Sol. A final coat of Future SHOULD get them OK.

Day 5 1/2:
"Bob Laskodi" water based paint wash applied over Future.
Doesn't show up too well on the topside shot. If the weathering
seems a little "heavy handed", in my experience the flat
coat mutes this somewhat.

Day 6: Fini!
