| Notes: One of those kits I built
as a kid and really thought was "neato". Of course, back then it was
"rip 'em off the sprues, tube glue EVERYWHERE and maybe brush
painted! Rereleased by Revell Germany, (missed the Convair
Tradewinds - another favorite) this kit holds up pretty well today.
The rivet detail is restrained and the panel lines are a mixture of
raised and indented. I only used a little filler on the fuselage
sink marks and seams. The Octopus grappling the ship is a great
squadron insignia for these birds. |
