Notes: The amazing things you learn building model airplanes. These guys had some cajones! They climbed in these things and flew at almost 400 mph a few feet off the water and COULD NOT SEE OUT THE FRONT! All this while crazy Italians and 'Mericans were trying to catch them. I have no idea how they were able to fit themselves AND their balls into these small cockpits. A very worthy ancestor to the Spitfire.

The ancient Hawk kit with the exhausts drilled out and .005 stainless wire rigging. For some crazy reason I even rescribed the wings.
