Notes:
On May 20, 1927 the world breathed a sigh of relief as "Lucky
Lindy" landed safely in Paris after a 30 hour flight from New
York. This was one of the major events in aviation and probably did
more than any other thing to make the general public accept
aviation.
This is the recently released Revell 1/48 "Spirit of St.
Louis". I found the kit to be excellent and very accurate. The
"turned metal" decals on the nose are a little
"fiddly" but look fairly convincing when finished. Finish
is SNJ buffing powder mixed with Future and a little alcohol to
thin.
