Notes:
This is an early issue of the 1/12 AMT 1937 Supercharged Phaeton.
The build is very much box stock with the exception of some engine
parts where I've used alloy tubing to replace the plastic cooling
pipes. The poseable steering, via a series of idler arms and drag
links is quite complicated to set up and was, I believe, dropped in
later versions of the kit. This kit also had hinged doors and wind
up windows - unfortunately this gave it glass that was 6 inch scale
thickness so I used a bit of artistic licence, did away with the
winding mechanism, and as they wouldn't stay closed, glued the doors
shut. Otherwise it is OOB
