Arthur is was manufactured by Superior figures (
long time gone figure company). Scale is 90mm. Paints used
were a base coat metal primer followed by poly-S undercoats, the
figure was than painted in artist oils, the ground work was an extension
of the original base representing castle floor stone work, it took
almost as long to paint as the figure. Arthur's shield has the back
side wood grained by hand and as with many aircraft and armor
interior details it can't be seen unless you stand on your head and
use a flash light. The base is Walnut hand rubbed with a number of
clear lacquered coats. In 1983 I took the figure to the Atlanta
Military Miniatures show and placed a gold metal in the novice
